Another comparison. I do still like the expression on the old one's face and found it kind of hard to get something like it going on in the new one. I like the new Igor better though.

Again, 2004 is Photoshop, 2009 is Illustrator.

I like the new Igor as well - but I like the splatter effect on the apron on the old one ^^

awe i think the shelves with formulas would be a nice touch to the new one too, i especially like the decision to have hr face blood splattered except where the goggles would be

I definitely like the brain-creature you've got going on in the new one too, and her pose seems more...I dunno, I think the contrast with the angle of her head and back work better than they did back in 2004.

Have to say, though, there's something I really like about the old image's safety goggles.

The expressions are a little different but I think they both convey the same message. And I agree about liking the new Igor better.

I do like the newer one as well, except I dig the goggles more on the older one. The new one, they seem more like a headband.

I love the update. I just catagorize it as the evolution of your talents. If everyone looked at stuff they did 5 years ago, I'm sure that stuff would look strange to them today. I still have my work from high school and wonder why I thought it looked awesome at the time and find where the flaws are I would improve on today.
