Artist's Comments
These ladies are based on the four queens in a deck of cards from a Vegas casino. It's what you get when you're looking around the room for inspiration, you don't find any so you start poking around in drawers and baskets to see what's actually in there and then find the inspiration you're looking for.
I was thinking of posting each of them separately, to fill up my gallery, but I like the way they look when they're all together like this. I'll put them up on their own when they go up on my web site. But I might pick my favourite of the four and make that my feature deviation.
All done in Illustrator CS2, played and practised with pattern brushes a lot.

To my great shock and surprise, I discovered that this became a DD on the weekend! I'll be here all week answering comments and thanking people for favourites! This really is incredibly flattering. It's such a nice feeling to be appreciated and to know people are interested in what I can do and like to do. Thank you!

It's like she is more in-tune with the flower... vs what the hell am I holding... a flower? The other queens are not doing it for me.
The art, the work that you purred into this, is fantastic! but the queen of hearts is the bread winner.
